People often ask why so many prophecies are dual? It is: because making them dual causes a more profound understanding of either the message to be retained or the lesson to be learned. Also, it is easier to anticipate the fulfillment of a prophecy during our time when you see an example of it in history.
Detailed prophecy generally has to be internalized by a prophet and then passed on to its intended audience. The Prophet Ezekiel ate a book of prophecy (Ezekiel 2:8-Ezekiel 3:3). The Prophet John also ate a book of prophecy (Revelation 10:1-11). The books were sweet in their mouths. But John’s book turned to bitterness when it reached the stomach. This exemplifies the fact that learning what will happen before it happens is fascinating and generally beneficial; however, there are obvious negatives. Most likely, what a real prophet has to say will almost never be politically correct. A true prophet will not always have pleasant things to predict, unlike a fortune teller who will predict just about anything to keep her clients happy.
Prophecies show us the ultimate in rewards that are gained after endurance, overcoming, and faithfulness. This perspective is, for the most part, timeless. Even though prophecy by its meaning is predictive, prophecy without the relevant imperatives of character-building is like a play without a moral or a story without a point.
Judas is the one who betrayed Jesus for money (Matthew 26:15-16). It would have been better for Judas if he had never been born (Mark 14:21). Afterwards, Judas took a dive off of a high place with a fastener around his neck, exploding at the bottom with his bowels gushing out (Matthew 27:3-5, Acts 1:16-18). One twelfth of the disciples of Christ were replaced. Matthias replaced unfaithful Judas (Acts 1:25-26). By the same token, one twelfth of the potential 144,000 of Revelation chapter 7 will be replaced. The tribe of Dan (that could have had a population of 12,000) will be omitted. To make up the difference, Joseph will be added, resulting in Joseph and his son occupying two tribal positions instead of one (Revelation 7:4-8). One of the meanings of the word “Joseph” is “addition”.
Herod executed James and captured Peter because it pleased the members of the standard religion, consisting of, at that time, the non-Messianic Jews (Acts 12:1-3). Just as faithful Christians were threatened with death by the standard religion during the first century, and a different form of the standard religion during the dark ages, faithful Christians will be threatened with death by the standard religion at the end of man’s rule (John 16:2, Revelation 17:6). God’s people are told to come out of Babylon (Revelation 18:4). One mark of false prophets and false teachers is their willingness to try to make merchandise of God’s people (II Peter 2:1-3). Zechariah looked forward to a time in which there would be the absence of the Canaanite (Zechariah 14:21). The Hebrew for Canaanite is from “Chenaanee”, meaning merchant. Canaanite is simply a word for merchant just as Caldean is a word for astrologer. John wrote of a time in which merchants will weep and mourn (Revelation 18:11) all because Babylon will have been ruined (Revelation 18:2).
Sodom is symbolic of extreme wickedness (Genesis 13:13). Egypt, which had enslaved Israel (Exodus 1:13-14), is a symbol of sin. Old Jerusalem at the end of the age of man’s rule will be a combination of Sodom and Egypt, extreme wickedness and enslaving sin (Revelation 11:8). Just as Egypt is a type of sin, Pharaoh is a type of Satan. Pharaoh did not want to let the people of God escape from Egypt, the land of sin. By the same token Satan does not want to let the people of God escape from sin during the end time. Satan will have great wrath, knowing that his time is short (Revelation 12:12). Just as Moses and Aaron were two witnesses to truth as the Children of Israel were led out of Egypt, so also there will be two witnesses at the end time. There will be two witnesses prophesying for three and a half years (forty-two months) (Revelation chapter 11). Just as Moses and Aaron were instrumental in seeing to it that the Children of Israel escaped from Egypt, the two witnesses will be instrumental in seeing to it that the people of God escape from sin and from Babylon.
Just as Paul was overcoming (fighting the good fight), finishing the course (enduring to the end), and keeping the faith (II Timothy 4:7), the final headquarters team ruling with Christ will have been overcoming (I John 5:4-5, Revelation 2:26), enduring to the end (Matthew 10:22, James 1:12) and remaining faithful (Revelation 2:10, Revelation 17:14). The faithful people will have been mindful of a future reward and have embraced the promises (Hebrews 11:13-14). Both Isaiah and Paul remind us of a future time of ultimate rewards, which cannot be totally comprehended by the mind of man, a time so magnificent that eye has not seen and ear has not heard what God has prepared for those who love him and wait for him (Isaiah 64:4, I Corinthians 2:9).
While many will claim that the original creation of the earth occurred 6000 years ago (an absurdity of mammoth proportions), it is a fact that man was created about 6000 years ago. We have the genealogy all the way back to Adam. It is about 6000 years into the past. The time is a rough estimate because, although Genesis and other books of the Bible provide us with genealogies and how old a man was when his son was born, there is the problem of factoring in fractions of years.
For example, Abraham was reported as being 100 years old when his son Isaac was born to him (Genesis 21:5). However, what does it really mean that Abraham was 100 years old? It means he was past his one-hundredth birthday. How far was he past it? We don’t really know. He may have been 100 years and 1 month old. He may have been 100 years and 5 months old. He may have been 100 years and 11 months old. And the same is true of many who are listed in the genealogies. And this is the reason the time of the creation of Adam cannot be pinpointed with great accuracy. But we do know it was about 6000 years ago.
To reconcile the fact of the age of the universe (about 13.5 billion years) and the age of man (around 6000 years) go to Gap Theories. Many Bible scholars would estimate it to be just under 6000 years because of the theory of the Sabbath of millenniums. Just as the re-creation took six days and the seventh was the day God rested, leaving us an example that we should also rest on the seventh day – so also there is six 1000 periods of time that Satan does his dirty work But the seventh 1000 year period will be a forced period of rest for Satan (Revelation 20:2,3,7). Satan will be put into the abyss for 1000 years and then released. He will be forced to rest during that last 1000 years.
Just as the prophet Elijah pointed people to the true God during the time of Jezebel and King Ahab, there will be a modern day Elijah to point people to the true God in today’s world, extinguishing the influence of the end-time Jezebel.
For more information about the prophet Elijah, go to The 4 Elijahs.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Natural Anxiety Cure Cure Anxiety Fast Cure Anxiety And Get Your Life Back
Everyone fall victim to anxiety at some point in their lives as it is a natural part of being human. Nonetheless, when anxiety is part of your daily life for continuing periods and without real cause, it can turn chronic and inevitably needs to be addressed. Some unfortunate folks go through harrowing anxiety attacks which are so debilitating, they cannot function normally. It is gauged that eight percent of the population tolerate true anxiety attacks once, if not more times in their lives.
You Can Cure Anxiety
Some psychologists suggest that it is fundamental to understand the key reasons of an anxiety attack in order to cure it. Apart from trying clinical assistance, there are some try at home programs that have proven very productive in assisting anxiety sufferers to get over their anxiety. These techniques are chiefly based on a process of determining the cause or trigger for a persons anxiety and then eliminating them.
There is also recent research providing hope for anxiety sufferers with a method which utilises the newly discovered ‘thinking shift’ methodology. What is ‘thinking shift’? A panic attack is termed a ‘fight or flight’ response and is our bodies way of responding to a perceived threat. During a panic attack, our mental activity suddenly moves from our rational front brain to the more primitive mid brain, resulting in a heightened state of fear and panic. The ‘thinking shift’ technique stops this movement and returns the brain activity to the front brain, thereby short circuiting the panic attack and returning things to normal.
There are assorted natural products that may assist in beating anxiety including the herb Sage. You can make a tea from this herb and many people swear it works wonders for their nerves. In the realm of natural remedies, anxiety relief may also be found through acupunture with great success.
Cures For Anxiety
Although some people opt to use anxiety attack drugs in search of a speedy fix for their condition, there is a danger of developing a dependence on these medications which in reality only mask the fundamental cause of the problem. It is far more effectual to find a long-term solution than subject oneself to a possible addiction to medication.

Emotional eating is the biggest contributor to being heavy. The true way to success is to conquer emotional eating. Yet, decades of approaching the weight problem with diets (an awareness technique) has most overeaters hypnotized into believing that they really have an eating problem. Yes, while those who are overweight definitely would agree that they have an eating problem or a food problem, the truth is that overeating is only a symptom.
Let’s analyze. If you have a weight problem, take the following quiz. What do you often do when you feel:
- unhappy?
- depressed?
- like rewarding yourself?
- bored?
- angry?
- frustrated?
- excited?
If your answer is “eat” in response to one or more of these questions, you are an emotional eater. Truth is that few deal with emotions, instead they deal with the habit of eating. Emotional eating is only a symptom of one’s inability to manage certain emotions.
The fact is that most over eaters dilute their emotions with food. You’re bored and there’s nothing to do so you eat. You got a lot accomplished so you eat to reward yourself. You’re happy being with your friends so you eat to celebrate a good time. You’re angry or upset about something so you eat to sooth yourself. You are stressed and under pressure so you eat to relieve the stress and pressure.
And then there are other emotions such as confusion, depression… that food is also used to dilute those emotions and feelings. It doesn’t matter whether the emotions are good or bad feelings.
The reality is that very few know how to take emotions straight and leave food out of the equation.
Dealing with emotions is far more important than reading the scale. Focusing on the scale can be very disheartening. Sometimes you might actually think that the scale is in a conspiracy against you for when you know that you’ve been controlling your food intake and should have lost weight, the scale actually shows a slight gain in weight.
Besides focusing on the scale doesn’t empower you to be a better more enlightened person, whereas learning about how to manage and handle emotions empowers you in all aspects of your life.
It helps to understand from where emotions originate. Our ability to experience emotions come from the limbic brain which is the first part of the brain to have developed. The rational thinking reticular portion of the brain came much later as language was developed.
Generally there is a similar characteristic that is the same in all of us which determines what emotion we feel at any given time. And that is our expectations. Whether we know it or not, each of us are a walking set of expectations. As things develop during our day as we expect them to we are likely to feel happy, fulfilled, excited, joyful… and as things develop contrary to our desires we are likely to feel upset, frustrated, angry, bored, confused…
Back in the 60’s with the advent of biofeedback, many studied the possibility of controlling our emotions through the use of brain wave biofeedback. It turned out to be an impractical goal and what we actually learned is that when we try to control something we are actually giving power to it over us.
Ultimately, a more realistic goal is to learn how to feel and embrace the emotion. For when we stop resisting emotion (and that’s what we do when we eat) and allow ourselves to truly feel the emotion it disappears along with any needs to dilute the emotion with food. We stop eating emotional feelings.
A progressive approach to conquer emotional eating involves asking questions “What is missing here? Why are people not getting the results they are promised? It is clearly insane to keep using the same weight loss techniques when the results are so poor. It’s more important to gain a grasp on conquering emotional eating than it is to read the scale. Besides focusing on the scale doesn’t empower you to be a better more enlightened person, whereas learning about how to handle emotional eating empowers you in all aspects of your life and you’ll find that what you really want to eat is far more nutritious and less in quantity than ever before imagined.

For those who have experienced a panic or anxiety disorder at some point in their lives, the effect can be devastating. The symptoms of a panic attack are especially troubling as they can often mimic a heart attack or make the person believe they are dying.
Symptoms such as heart racing, palpitations, shakiness, dizziness, nausea and overwhelming terror often accompany a panic attack. These symptoms will often paralyze the person experiencing them and make them believe they are going crazy. Often, the person becomes more and more withdrawn because of the fear of being in public when an attack happens.
Others experience generalized anxiety which causes them to fear many things and worry about various circumstances of life. Some of the symptoms of anxiety disorders are: muscle aches and pains, irritability, feelings of dread, fear of losing control, difficulty concentrating, tiring easily, anxious thoughts, jumpiness and restlessness.
Thankfully, these disorders are completely curable if handled correctly with the proper tools. Many sufferers waste time and money chasing false claims. There are wonderful resources out there that can help solve the problem quickly such as PANIC ATTACKS and ANXIETY ATTACKS
While many people who have panic and anxiety do have an emotional component, one cannot overlook the possible physical causes such as thyroid issues, mitral valve prolapse and other medical conditions that can mimic some of the symptoms of these disorders. These should always be investigated by a doctor who specializes in these areas.
Cutting out caffeine and nicotine, as well as exercise and meditation can also be very effective in staving off anxiety and panic attacks. Of course there are also several types of prescription medications and herbal remedies that can be helpful in the treatment of anxiety and panic disorders. With effort and faith in the process, a person can overcome panic and anxiety and lead a normal, happy life.
Therapy is a key component of treatment for anxiety disorder. Many studies show that therapy is as effective as medication for most people. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is one type of therapy that is very helpful in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
Women and men who experience panic and anxiety attacks may have a diimished quality of life. At every turn, they are afraid of experiencing the terrifying symptoms of an attack as well as the possible embarrassment of having an attack in public where others can see.
There is no need for someone who is having panic or anxiety attacks to suffer alone. There are resources if the person will just grab on to them. There is no need to suffer in silence or alone. It should not be just about surviving panic and anxiety attacks, but about thriving in your life.
P.S. Read how emotional freedom technique has helped people to get into control of their self and solve the problems with health, success and even money.

Anxiety Help
Obtaining Anxiety Attack Help is Essential
If you suffer from anxiety or panic attacks it isprudent to seek anxiety attack help, especially if you’ve been observing that you’re growing anxious more frequently than you would consider acceptable. If you defer obtaining anxiety attack help, it is quite probable that you will add to the decline of your situation, which would then result to additional needless difficulties. Even if you are generally fit, you should get some guidence as soon as you experience an anxiety attack. Suffering anxiety can be incredibly difficult and just living with it every day can really ruin your quality of life.
The Clinical Approach
Some people prefer to check with their health care provider when confronted with acute anxiety.
If you go down this path, your your physician will no doubt run a couple of examinations to find out what is the genuine cause of your anxiety.
You will also be called upon to talk about issues with your health care provider in a blunt way regarding, among other things, how you live, and other situations that might potentially cause you to feel anxiety. Also, the health care provider must also be able to eliminate other health issues including but not limited to depression that is oftentimes a cause for experiencing anxiety.
Quick Fix Solutions : Short Term
For a quick but temporary ‘fix’ for anxiety you may want to consider using particular drugs that can remedy anxiety symptoms. Also, you may also be recommended to undergo therapy or counseling, especially if this is clinically indicated.
Curing Your Anxiety By Self Healing
Anxiety Attacks
It is also doable to address your anxiety through self healing which oftentimes involves nothing more difficult than learning techniques to stop an anxiety attack before it starts. It is worth researching the 3 top ’self help’ anxiety methods which are obtainable online. All of these ‘top 3′ boast impressive results with hundreds of thousands of people worldwide acquiring the ability to cure themselves of anxiety and panic attacks.
It may also be the case that you can alleviate anxiety by making fundamental adjustments to your diet and lifestyle.
Getting enough amounts of sleep and exercising regularly can work wonders. Even lowering your consumption of alcoholic drinks and caffeinated drinks can contribute to curing anxiety and panic attacks.
Anxiety is an unfortunate condition that can affect your self esteem and may also cause concern among loved ones and others who have a close relationship with the sufferer. Taking preventative measures will no doubt help all concerned.
For most individuals a long term cure is a far better result than trying to find a short term fix. Since it is feasible to cure anxiety quick and in a natural way, the old anti anxiety drug solution is no longer as popular as it used to be. Preferring a natural anxiety remedy that will stand the test of time and give a person their life back is a positive step in the healing process. Wanting to make a change and taking action to make it happen is half the battle with this insidious condition.

“And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army. And the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him” (Daniel 11:25). The king of the south will have a great and mighty army. However this great and mighty army will not be successful against the Antichrist. Why? Because they broadcast or “…forecast devices against him” Is this a peacetime propaganda being used against the king of the South? It obviously appears to win out over the great and mighty army of the king of the South.
We know that the Antichrist will come into power through flatteries (Daniel 11:32) more so than by the waging of war. He will use peace (not war) and destroy many just as the historical Antichrist, Antiochus, did (Daniel 8:25).
This last world dictator will have ten kings of ten nations as his power base (Daniel 7:24, Revelation 17:12).
“And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of power, and shall take away the daily [sacrifice], and they shall place the abomination that makes desolate” (Daniel 11:31).
What is this abomination that makes desolate?
“As such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt through flatteries. But the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. And they that understand shall instruct many. Yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days” (Daniel 11:32-33).
The Antichrist will corrupt some of the people who were previously involved in the true worship of God. But those who continue to know God will be strong and do exploits.
What will the attitude of this Antichrist be?
“…the king will do according to his will. And he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished. For that that is determined shall be accomplished” (Daniel 11:36).
“…that day will not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped. So that he, as God, sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). Notice the Antichrist will actually be in the temple of God where he obviously does not belong.
“Neither will he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god. For he shall magnify himself above all” (Daniel 11:37). He will exalt himself and become a self-made god or idol. He will not regard “…the desire of women…” There is speculation he may be celibate or homosexual (or both).
“But in his estate will he honor the god of forces. And a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things” (Daniel 11:38). At first glance this may appear as out of character for the Antichrist who will set himself up as a god. However, in his lust for power, he may be willing to embrace the idolatry of this world’s power cabal. They worship their idols in private and appear as levelheaded businessmen and businesswomen in public. In public they shun idolatry. In private they practice idolatry.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]” (Ephesians 6:12).
“Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall slice up the land for gain” (Daniel 11:39). The Antichrist will practice idolatry at its deepest level to maintain his power base.
Daniel 11:40 shows a confrontation between the king of the north and the king of the south. The king of the south is ultimately defeated, resulting in the Antichrist traveling into the countries that are close to Jerusalem (Daniel 11:40-43).
Is this talking about a future event?
Yes.
“When you therefore will see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (who ever reads, let him understand). Then let them which be in Judaea escape into the mountains” (Matthew 24:15). These are the words of Christ. Make no mistake. Christ is talking about a future event. We may refer to a Greek king who was like a pre-type of the Antichrist. For more about this historical Antichrist see Antiochus. However, the main event is in the future, as is the end time Antichrist, the vile person spoken of by Daniel.
What is the abomination?
In Daniel 11:31 the word “abomination” has what meaning in the original Hebrew?
shikootz – # 8251 – an abomination, Something abominable, used of impure things, of flesh of victims, especially of idols.
In Matthew 24:15 the word “abomination” has what meaning in the Greek?
bdelugma – # 946 – abomination, detestable thing; literally anything that should not be brought before God because it arouses His wrath; of everything connected with idolatry.
In Matthew 24:15 what does the phrase “abomination of desolation” mean?
bdelugma tes epeymoseos – is prob. the detestable thing causing desolation of the holy place; some interpret it as denoting the Antichrist.
Note that some interpret it as denoting the Antichrist, the Beast. In other words, there exists the belief that the abomination of desolation may be the Antichrist himself! The Antichrist will set himself up as an idol. Apparently the pre-type Antichrist, Antiochus, set up an idol in the temple of God. The idol was a statue of Zeus. However, Antiochus had the face of the statue sanded down and reshaped so that the face looked like him (Antiochus).
In Daniel what does the word “desolate” mean?
shawmeyme – # 08074 – to be desolate, to be appalled, to be stunned, to be stupefied, to be awestruck, to be put to silence, to be devastated, to be ravaged, to be astounded/to be astonished.
So, then it could be referred to as the detestable thing that causes astonishment. It will be the ultimate abomination. It will be the last gasp of an insult to God from the Antichrist who is pretending to be God. People will be outraged by this detestable thing.
The Antichrist will throw his weight around for only three and a half years. The nations of this world will have to be destroyed and rebuilt under the government of Christ, the kingdom of God. The corruption will be totally wiped out before Christ begins to start the fabulous 1000 years of peace. The Antichrist and the ten nations that were his power base will be destroyed.
“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever” (Daniel 2:44).

No one wants to think about the idea of dying , but sometimes you need to think about the the future and that is where a new term life insurance policy can be beneficial. The truth is, we’re all going to die at some point, but though there’s nothing we can do about that fact, there is much we can do about preparing our life for it. Whether you have a lot of debt on your shoulders or you have children and other dependents to care for, having term life insurance as part of your safety net will help to ease the suffering of anyone left to grieve when you pass away. Term life insurance is just one of these possible policies, though they might not be the best fit for everyone.
Term life insurance is a necessity for anyone that is sole income producer of the household or someone that provides assistance to someone else. For example, a low cost term life insurance should be purchased if you are a parent or a guardian of a child, you need to make sure there is monetary support available for your dependents if you die. It might also be a good idea to have life insurance if you are someone who helps in paying the bills in a particular arrangement. If you were to die, the other person might have a difficult time financially, but you can make sure this never occurs if you have low cost term life insurance.
Term life insurance is a little different from what most people think it is. First of all, it’s insurance that only covers a period of time, say 10, 20 or even 30 years. When the coverage period is up, the policyholder is no longer covered and the money put toward that policy does not build up any cash value which is the case with whole life insurance. Many people will simply continue their term life insurance policy when it runs out in order to prevent the coverage from terminating, but they do so with the understanding that they will need to continue to renew this policy for as long as they want to be covered.
Ideally, term life insurance is going to be best for those who don’t need to be covered for a long period of time. For example, if you are between jobs and you want a life insurance policy to cover you until you can get on a new job’s benefits plan, term life insurance might be a good option. Just as you wouldn’t want to go without health insurance, you don’t want to leave yourself unprotected as you would without having a low price term life insurance.
Term life insurance is also a good idea for those who want to cover themselves only for a certain period of time,i.e. , for the time period from when a child’s mother gives birth until the child begins school and she goes back to work. Once the children have grown up, then the policy can be dropped as the children can type of security blanket in place will help you and everyone you know provide not only financial support for others in the event of your death, but also peace of mind for you as you know the people closest to you are protected.

Bible study Cell groups are essential part of christian church . Today, almost every church has its small groups. However, it is not at all a newly found concept. Jesus himself had his own small group of 12 people And although he had much larger community of followers, he invested majority of time and efforts in the lives of these few people.
Leading small groups can be one of the most rewardingexperience of your christian life. You can really impact your group members. Small group setting provides safer and much intimate environment for Christian fellowship and friendship. Today, we are going to discuss principles to effectively leading small group bible study. You may be leading students, married couples, men, women, teenagers, youth, or any age group, these principles remain the same. So, here are some of the suggestions for leading a group.
Know your audience. You must know your group members. Introduce new visitors.
Select the topic. According to your group, you can select the bible passage. Try to maintain the continuity.
Prepare your notes in question – answer format. You must have possible answers ready in your mind. Use other resources like bible commentary, if you need to. Keeping notes is one of the most useful practice you can have, it can be helpful in future as well.
Adopt your own style. Don’t imitate anybody’s style, have your own style of leading.
Ask questions, if the group do not understand, rephrase the question, don’t try to explain everything.
Remember, you are facilitator not a preacher. Your goal is to let others talk and share!
Encourage the quiet one, their silence do not mean non-participation. Also, try to manage the dominant members.
If you don’t know the answer of any particular question, acknowledge it. Find the answers and share it next time. Remember, we are all here to learn.
Keep the eye contact. Don’t just concentrate on few members. Occasionally, ask questions to individual.
If the discussion goes side tracked by some question, bring the group back to the main idea. (Use your judgment, if there is an important issue, continue the discussion.)
Appreciate good explanations. Everyone likes appreciation.
Be creative, visualize the picture in the passage. Use contemporary examples. Use maps, whiteboards, games, etc.
Don’t go overtime! 25-30 minutes of bible study is perfect. Sometimes, the faces of the members can tell you that its time to wrap up!!! If there is some important theological discussion going on, you can conclude bible study, but continue the discussion, so that those who need to leave can go.
Have conclusion in mind. Spend good amount of time in applying the word. Challenge your group.
I hope that these principles can help you to effectively lead your bible cell group.

Contrary to the popular Hollywood formula, God and the Devil are not on a soul-collecting contest to see who can collect the most souls. If such a thing had been the case, one might conclude that Satan is much more powerful because he seems to have collected exponentially more souls than God. In order to understand this, you must start to think outside the box. To get it right, we will refer to the handbook for life, the Bible.
There are three requirements if you would like to be on Christ’s headquarters team. It is summed up in three words: called, chosen, and faithful (Revelation 17:14).
The part of being called is the Father’s activity of giving us salvation as a free gift (Ephesians 2:8). No one can come to Christ unless the Father calls (draws) him (John 6:44). Salvation is a gift that can be kept or thrown away. If we look at today’s world and the world of the past almost 6000 years we have to conclude that only a moderate percent of the world’s population (both present and past) are called. This is done according to God’s plan. He wants us to select that which is good in spite of the fact it is not popular in this evil society.
People coming into the genuine knowledge of God are compared to harvests. There are two harvests: the small Spring harvest which is tiny and the large main harvest in the fall which is huge. The first fruits are harvested first because they are the first to receive adoption (son-ship and daughter-ship) from the Father (Romans 8:23). The calling is not the only part that cuts down the percent of the population. The choosing also cuts down the percent even more. Many are called but few chosen (Matthew 20:16). And, of course, being faithful to the end is a requirement that cuts down the percent even more (Matthew 10:22). Who chooses? Christ does!
“You have not chosen me, however I have chosen you. And ordained you…” (John 15:16).
Jesus is the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:10-12).
How can you know if the Messiah has chosen you? The first component of that step is in becoming a disciple of Christ. How do you know you have become a disciple of Christ? It’s simple. Check to see if you have love for others.
“By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another” (John 13:35).
We have to love everybody, even our enemies!
“But I say unto you which hear, love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and make requests for them which despitefully use you” (John 6:27-28).
This does not mean: be a chump. We live in a very hostile world. Don’t hate people. If they have done you wrong, don’t let them get by with doing you wrong again. Christ said we should turn the other cheek. The word “cheek” is singular not plural. Christ does not want us to become door mats. But he doesn’t want us to hate either. If you can love your enemies, then you, in essence, have no enemies. The process of having no enemies is the doorway through which you become a disciple of Christ.
The truth about the plan of God is so much more than most have ever contemplated. It is important to see past the hype of commercial religion. Now, you know that the Father calls you and Christ, his Son, chooses you. The third step is in being faithful. That is your part. Don’t get sidetracked like so many billions have been. In being faithful, there are two basic types of faith, a dead faith and a live faith. Faith without works is a dead faith (James 2:26). Works are expected.
What Works Are Expected?
So, what happens to all the billions who have lived and died and never heard the name Jesus Christ? They are simply not being called at this time.
When Christ returns to this planet the dead in Christ will rise up first (1 Thessalonians 4:16). This is the first resurrection. These will be resurrected into bodies that do not die (1 Corinthians 15:52-53). These are the first fruits. What about the second resurrection?
The main harvest will come over 1000 years later, after the 1000 years of peace. The billions who never had a real first chance for salvation will be in the second resurrection. This will be a resurrection back into physical bodies. This is exemplified by the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel chapter 37). This will be a time of judgment for them. If they accept the sacrifice of Christ and become faithful they will also be given eternal life and bodies that don’t die. However, if they reject Christ and salvation they will be burned up in the lake of fire in the second death from which there is no resurrection (Revelation 20:11-14). Everyone who has knowledge of the truth should strive to be in the first resurrection, which causes the second death to have no power over them (Revelation 20:6).
“…he that overcomes and keeps my words unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations” (Revelation 2:26).
